Alkesh Shah is a Managing Director and Head of Web3, Crypto and Digital Assets Strategy at Bank of America Global Research. He drives thought leadership in the digital asset space by identifying global trends and offering strategic insights to institutional and retail clients.   His research covers crypto-assets, including tokens and infrastructure companies, and applications, such as Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs), Decentralized Finance (DeFi), stablecoins and Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDCs).

With more than 25 years of technology experience, Alkesh has also played an integral role in bringing leading technology companies public, including Netscape and Amazon. He has a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
