"Parenting Essentials: How Toddlers Thrive"
with Tovah Klein
Season 1, Episode 2

Tovah Klein is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Barnard College and Director of the Barnard College Center for Toddler Development, where she and her team study, among other topics, children’s social and emotional development, the influence of parents on children’s development, sleep and separation, and the role of play in development. Tovah Klein is a thought leader who has worked with Sesame Street, serves on the advisory boards for the Ubuntu Pathways in South Africa, Room to Grow, the Children’s Museum of Manhattan and the board of Hypothekids in Harlem.

She often appears, and her work is frequently quoted in the media and some call her the “Toddler Whisperer.” Her bestselling book, “How Toddlers Thrive” is a must read for parents who want to learn what they can do today with their 2-5 year olds to plant the seeds for lifelong success. Tovah Klein is also a mother of three amazing young men and has transformed for the better (I might add) my parenting.
