About Petal
I’m Petal Modeste.
For more than 23 years, I’ve leveraged my expertise in education, law, and motherhood (not to mention being a woman of strong convictions!) to bring a distinctive perspective on parenting and child development.
As a mother of two daughters in two different generations and with over 20 years of experience as a legal and higher education professional, I’ve learned that parenting is about more than the basics. It’s about recognizing that how we raise our children today will shape the world of tomorrow. When we arm them with the skills and tools that will enable them to become good citizens of the world, we also prepare them to change that world for the better.
My mission is simple: to empower forward-thinking parents like you to nurture future-ready kids who will shape a better world. Through our podcast, events, and growing community, Parenting for the Future helps parents give their children the knowledge, tools and skills they need to become happy, healthy, purposeful people capable of making their unique impact on the world.
Thank you for allowing me to walk this parenting journey with you.
